Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Laboratory

Director: C. R. F. Lund

Research in the Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Laboratory focuses on fundamental studies of catalysts and membrane reactors. Experimental techniques include steady-state and transient kinetics, isotopic labeling, thermal desorption, adsorption, calorimetry, and membrane permeation. Experiments as well as mathematical models and computational chemistry techniques are employed in an effort to understand the underlying mechanisms.

HIGHLIGHT
