Ceramic and Reaction Engineering Laoratory

Director: Vladimir Hlavacek

Research in the Ceramic and Reaction Engineering Laboratory focuses on the synthesis of advanced ceramic materials by chemical vapor deposition, by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis and by combustion processes. Reactions involving energetic materials are also studied. A variety of experimental techniques are used in conjunction with mathematical models to study these processes.

HIGHLIGHT
